Since 2021, I am a Senior Researcher at Starlab , an R&D neurotechnology company in Barcelona. I am part of the Neuroscience Business Unit and obtained a Tecniospring Industry grant, that supports the transfer of researchers from Academia to Industry. With this project I am focusing on developing new EEG-based technologies for the early detection of cognitive decline.
From 2018 to 2020, I was a Senior Research Associate in the School of Psychological Science , at the University of Bristol (UK). I was part of the Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group . I am working with Dr Olivia Maynard using behavioural and EEG measures to assess the impact of efficacy messages on behaviour and brain responses.
From 2016 to 2018, I was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie post-doctoral fellow in the Psychology department , at the University of Plymouth (UK). I used EEG to study visual mental imagery , in collaboration with Pr. Giorgio Ganis.
From 2013 to 2015, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, in the Laboratory for Neurology and Imaging of Cognition. I worked with Pr. Patrik Vuilleumier to study the hypnotic state and its effects on attention and empathy using fMRI and EEG.
I defended my PhD in 2012, at the CerCO-CNRS UMR5549 in Toulouse, France. I worked under supervision of Pr.Arnaud Delorme and studied the EEG correlates of meditation and mind-wandering.
